A Love Song

 A Love Song

My desire to describe your beauty overwhelms me.

Watching sand slip between your fingers like water.

And yet even as they fell to the ground, your eyes held them in place.

Yea, though many thought your work a celebration of futility, your eyes held them like stone.

Your words, falling to the desert, sprang forth snakes.

Breathing fire they made an oasis out of glass.

Preserving new life that grows here now.

Your negatives and hollows gravitated all to you.

White roses and daisies grow here now. None else allowed.

Easy harmless flower sprouts.

Bees rest.

Pleasant honey.

Tears may have stung when they hit the ground.

Now they clouded into the sky and kiss Sunday.

No reason to fear anymore.

Founded by us with Pearl eyes and Corinthian Columned places

Peace found me first, and so found you.

We are.
