Being irritated at evil and wanting things to be better and focusing on whats wrong with the world is how people corrupt themselves.
People don't even tend to question this about themselves. It would be like telling them not to care about sick babies or dying children, and telling them the truth only seems to activate their guilt and make them want to point the finger at you.
