The accidentally good natured rescuer

Walking with the wind at a restaurant.

Two people debated on trying to save me.

To show me some wings or divinity.

How do we save him?

Do we show him our purpose?

Do we introduce him around?

Do we have banquets or fun in term and to have a good time?

All this with the cold wind outside.

All this came and I thought, "They're not asking me anything. They must just be using the scary outside and not asking me anything because their just evil human traffickers trying to leverage me away from my family for no reason. If they weren't then they would have asked me and not assumed that I wasn't divine because I clearly am if they took the time to notice."

I don't need a ride, I said, as it seemed that a woman was arguing about timing with her boyfriend. I'll walk alone in the cold wind to get home.

Reading my thoughts she said "No. That's not what I'm trying to do at all."

See the danger in not listening and assuming the role of rescuer?

This taught me as a young man that the world is far too complex to be saved.

*I changed the title a few times because I simplified my cynicism for the sake of reality.
