I once knew a woman who told me that she didn't like to be helped by me because she liked discovering things on her own and that if i tried to help then she would dismiss me as just another mansplainer as she said.
But i also knew that inability to communicate and her inability to listen is what made her situation hopeless in the first place.
Her inability to be sincere and her attraction to my sincerity is what made it impossible for her to understand my reasons for rejecting her while making it clear at the time i had to reject her.
The best I was able to do was give her a piece of my broken heart so that she would know the need of hers to need love and not just accomplishment.
If that piece of my heart fit, then she was cinderella and that part of me would be here forever.
My heart always grows back from my social skills, so she doesnt owe me anything. Because love is a gift, not an obligation.
Accomplishment ethics won't heal you if you don't have a heart to heal.
