Movies and books and charm and board games allows one a peripheral view so that new gems can be found and be resurrection leverage.
Long games are sometimes better than short term wisdom gains.

Thats why there's no escaping who you are or your place other than growth no matter where you are.
Thats why imaginative innocence and escapism is inevitable for practical reasons.
For me poetry helps me to actively participate in my own reality. I write nature poetry that reflects a snapshot of my life and then true happiness reflected in my poetry follows me around in healthy ways.
Once i had a falling out with a coffee shop. But before i left i wrote a poem about happy butterflies. I still see those butterflies even though i dont go to that coffee shop anymore. Meaning that the earth energy of that coffee shop is now in the world and not just in the coffee shop.
Poetry and borrowed time of earth can be made permanent through poetry and human interaction that both benefits the poet and frees the energy from temporary resting places that can make the presence of the physical coffee shop permanent.
The most awesome aspect of this insight is that adults can feed their own innocence and don't need to depend on child corruption to be able to play outside. They can do that for themselves.
The only barrier to that is a person's personal stupidity or bad habits or old pretentious assumptions or personal foolishness.
