Because lust can exist where sex doesnt. Ask any woman who's been raped against her consent. The person who assaulted her would have experienced lust, but the woman who was raped wouldnt call it sex. The proof is that rape tends to oppress sexuality.
If lust isnt sex, but lust includes sex as necessary but not sufficient, then sex is something else.
When a woman experiences an orgasm from what I've read she experiences oxytocin spikes, normally associated with bonding.
Bonding is intimacy. Intimacy isnt sex either. I sure has hell dont fuck everyone im close with.
It would seem to me that sex has to include both the wisdom of lust and intimacy.

Happiness occurs when all of these are present.
The god of lust is also the god of ambition. Some confuse ambition with righteousness, which is another source of generational suffering.
Thats what lust and me have in common. Because outside of righteousness is nihilistic open spaces best suited for self interest and ambition.
These virtues are what allow home to exist at all. Righteousness can be considered a sin because it closes doors that allow families and homes to live in peace.
